Vista Mircophone Problem

Okay... i've updated the Realtek AC97... my speakers work... n my mic definitely works... but then how do i set my mic so that it works with vista? cause i have no sounds comming from my speakers... trying to find a solution to this....>.<

i dont get what you mean..
your having problems with your mic or speaker??
I asume is your mic
Control panel --> sound --> Recodrding tab, and set defaault type of mic.. if you dont know just test everyone of them.

you said you updated the Realtek AC97 as it drivers under Vista? They may work in XP, but not without the Vista drivers, they won't work at all.

isnt worth getting a new sound card just for vista
been using vista for a month and a half. and I want to go back XP after a week of using it.

yea i wanna go bac to xp... but then again... xp doesn't run very well with some programs... vista tends to runt hem smoother...
