Anyone know if there are any cantonese pinyin language input that works on Vista? I use to use one on XP called Canton2002 or something like that, but when I try to install it on Vista, it just shows up as scrambled characters and the microsoft language bar won't recognize it. I tried installing it using applocale but it still won't work.

Try NJStar? You can change to the Canton Lau input method.
I've never tried the Canton2002 thing. I think NJStar is supported or at least will be supported by Vista. I don't have a Vista installed machine to test so maybe you should try it out.

thanks for the help, i actually found a chinese input for vista on uwants so it should be fine now. I was never really a fan of njstar, don't really want an extra program to type chinese, i find it easier switching english and chinese on the windows language bar.

I never really learned how to use the windows IME so I had no real choice. Show me how you're using it with a SS.
