I work out 4-5 days a week after work. My motivation is to lower body fat, be fit, look good, and make my six pack pop. I'm also doing a bit of training for soccer again, acrued too many injuries last few seasons. So I wanted to be fit enough to play without higher risk of injury. I'm also oldest in my family so I feel the need to set a good example...besides gout and diabetes runs in our family genetics so I would like to not get those too. I think the key to staying fit is to live the lifestyle and incorporate it into your daily life. Oh yeah, stop making excuses for not getting some exercise. Once you start making excuses it's hard to stop =P

Quitting the unhealthy lifestyle is as hard as quitting smoking. You need alot of motivation and discipline.
But anyways, here are some of the reasons why people feel the need to exercise:
1) They feel fat and ugly
2) They feel skinny and wimpy (guys)
3) They have a decent shape but want to be perfect
4) They already have a perfect shape and simply don't want to lose it
Which category do you fall in?
In the beginning, I was in the 2nd category... then started to work out and I think I'm somewhere between 2 and 3 now... my goal is to reach the 4th category :D
